VIRTUE WARRIOR AWARD
Each month our students and staff are called upon to learn and embody a Catholic virtue. Students are educated on the virtue, given examples for daily actions that personify the virtue, and encouraged to pray for ways that they can portray that virtue to all those they encounter. Each trimester, homeroom teachers select a student that has actively lived one of the three virtues focused upon that trimester. The selected students are honored at one of our all school masses and presented the Virtue Warrior Award.
GOLDEN ROCKET AWARD
The Golden Rocket Award is given to one student in each classroom, each trimester. The idea behind this long-standing school award is that it goes to a student who has, in some way, demonstrated the good actions and qualities we encourage in all our students. It can be an all-around good student who is always prepared and tries their very best, someone who is always demonstrating our virtues and is a good friend to others and a helpful part of the classroom, or perhaps it is a student that shows significant improvement in schoolwork and/or behavior.
