A note from our principal...
Blessing to you, and welcome to the Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School! I am thrilled to be the principal here and am looking forward to sharing my leadership and Catholic Faith with you and your children.
I have spent the past 36 years working in education in the public school system, including spending the last 25 years as a principal in the Arvada area through Jeffco Public Schools. I retired from Jeffco in 2023 but am incredibly happy to be coming out of retirement to lead the Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School as long as God's plan wants me here!
My husband Barry and I have been married for 23 years, and we are blessed with 2 grown boys and 1 granddaughter. I treasure time spent with my family and friends. My favorite activities are puzzles, reading, golfing, and traveling. We spend a lot of time in Naples, FL, where we have a second home.
Barry and I are parishioners at Spirit of Christ, where I serve on the Pastoral Council, Outreach Committee, and the TOUCH funeral luncheon ministry. I am looking forward to attending Mass at St. Anne's as well and becoming active in the parish.
I believe in a partnership with families and community members, and I am looking forward to growing my faith as the principal. I am excited to support the mission of the Shrine of St. Anne by educating the whole child in this loving and supportive community.

In Christ,

Our Mission
The Shrine of St. Anne School is a Catholic community rooted in Christ, in Knowledge, and in Tradition. Under the patronage of St. Anne, we strive to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, physically, and socially within the loving community that surrounds our school.
History
The Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School opened on September 5, 1961, with students in 6th and 7th grades consisting of only 108 children. At the time, it was the 55th school in the Archdiocese, and tuition was $55 per family. Additional grades were added over the next several years. The Shrine of St. Anne School has provided excellent formation for thousands of students and families for over 60 years. Many of our families are multi-generational families that have returned decade after decade.

Core Beliefs
The teachers and staff of the Shrine of St. Anne School believe that all children embody our Savior, Jesus Christ, and are gifts from God. We believe that all children are learners. We believe that through a faith-filled community, differentiated instruction, and challenging learning opportunities, we will have a school filled with engaged and active learners, including our staff, because we are all lifelong learners. Finally, we believe we can help every child who walks through our doors make great progress towards, meet, or exceed their potential.
