Mrs. Theresa Donahue has been a member of the Shrine of St. Anne community since starting as a parent in 2002, when she and her husband enrolled their son in Kindergarten.  Prior to 2002, her husband’s family had been long-time parishioners and supporters of both the parish and school at the Shrine of St. Anne for decades.

Mrs. Donahue joined the faculty as a part-time teacher in 2005, teaching junior high physical education and eventually teaching all physical education in K-8 two years later.  She completed the Alternative Licensure Program through the Archdiocese of Denver to become a fully licensed Physical Education/Health Teacher.  Mrs. Donahue participated in a principal formation program through the Archdiocese of Denver during the 2017-18 school year.  In April of 2018, she was hired as Principal for the 2018-19 school year.  

Educationally, Mrs. Donahue earned her Bachelors of Science from Grand Canyon University, majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology.  She earned a Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University.  Mrs. Donahue earned her principal endorsement through Colorado State University.  

Mrs. Donahue’s work background includes working with delinquent boys in residential treatment in Arizona, working at Mt. St. Vincent Home with emotionally challenged youth, being a business owner with her husband, and most importantly, parenting her now 2 adult children.
