Race for Education

Our 7th Annual RACE FOR EDUCATION is Friday, April 23, 2010. Plans are already underway to ensure that this important event is successful. Patty Weddingfeld & Linda Quigley are our RACE coordinators.

A very important source of financial support for the RACE comes from our corporate sponsorships.

Last year approximately 28% of the funds raised were from the corporate sponsorships.

If you are the owner of a business, please consider providing financial support of the RACE through a corporate sponsorship. These corporate sponsorships are tax deductible.If you are interested, please call the school office at 303-422-1800 so that one of the RACE coordinators can contact you with more information.

A corporate sponsorship is a great way for a business to advertise at a relatively economical price AND help Shrine of St. Anne School.

All corporate sponsorships need to be finalized by March 8.

Your help in providing corporate sponsorships for the RACE is greatly appreciated. Below are the benefits for each level of corporate sponsorship:

Bronze

$150 - $299

Recognition in weekly Parent Newsletter for 8 weeks starting April 9th through May 28th.
Item (s) from the business in individual RACE participant bags.
Each student in the sponsor's family will receive an ice cream coupon and an out-of-uniform pass.

Silver

$300 - $499

Recognition in weekly Parent Newsletter for 8 weeks starting April 9th through May 28th.
Item (s) from the business in individual RACE participant bags.
Each student in the sponsor's family will receive an ice cream party at school and an out-of-uniform pass.

Gold

$500 - $999

Recognition in weekly Parent Newsletter for 8 weeks starting April 9th through May 28th.
Item (s) from the business in individual RACE participant bags.
Group recognition of businesses on one banner to be placed on school grounds/gym wall for one year.
Each student in the sponsor's family will receive lunch at Griff's with the principal and an out-of-uniform pass.

Platinum

$1,000 and above

Recognition in weekly Parent Newsletter for 8 weeks starting April 9th through May 28th.
Item (s) from the business in individual RACE participant bags.
Group recognition of businesses on one banner to be placed on school grounds/gym wall for one year.
Individual business banner to be hung on a wall in the gym for one year.
Each student in the sponsor's family will receive a limo ride and pizza party and an out-of-uniform pass.

PRIZES FOR FAMILY SPONSORSHIPS/FAMILY PARTICIPATION
Most money raised per family (excluding corporate sponsorships):
- the children of the top 10 families will participate in a limo ride and pizza party.
Most laps run (top student in each homeroom).
- Individual trophy
- St. Anne’s water bottle
- Name included on a banner for the Top Runners for the 2010 RACE

For a student to be eligible to win a prize, the student’s family must have financially participated in the RACE either by sending a flat donation or sending in a family sponsor list. The deadline for both is Friday, March 12.

THE 2009 RACE FOR EDUCATION was a huge success! Over $68,000 was raised! The money was used for some much needed improvements to the parking lot and other building upgrades and repairs.
