Paige SchwetzTo the families at the Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School,

Hello! My name is Paige Schwetz, and I will be joining the faculty at the Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School as the fourth grade mathematics and science teacher in the upcoming school year. I recently graduated from the University of Dayton as a Middle School Education major with concentrations in mathematics and science.

I believe that my passion for education and hard work in the field granted me the opportunity to receive the Rev. George J. Renneker S.M. Award for outstanding achievement as a Teacher Education student. In addition to the rigorous courses, I took advantage of many opportunities that have been presented to me in order to prepare myself for a future in education. For four semesters, I worked as a Physics teacher’s assistant at the college level. Since then, I have been tutoring sixth grade twins—specifically in areas of mathematics and science. This past summer, I was also a teacher’s assistant for a fifth-to-eighth grade summer school program. Finally, I had the opportunity to student teach in a fifth grade mathematics classroom.

I learned so much about classroom management, the importance of communication with parents, collaborating with colleagues, and differentiating my lessons for each student. I am beyond excited to begin my career at this school, and I hope that we can work together so that each of your children will reach their full potential.

I look forward to meeting you and all of your children!

Have a wonderful summer,
Paige Schwetz
