News from seventh grade
Seventh graders have completed their second trimester project in science, “Scientists and Their Importance to Our World”. This project entailed choosing a scientist who is of interest to the individual student. Each student was responsible for doing in-depth research regarding the scientist’s life and his/her contributions to science. After writing an essay about the scientist, each student gave an individual presentation to the class using a creative object to represent that scientist’s importance and accomplishments. All the students did a great job!
In February, the seventh graders will go on a field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The focus will be for the students to learn about the circulatory and respiratory systems in labs while dissecting hearts and lungs. This should prove to be an outstanding educational opportunity for the seventh graders!

News from Eighth grade |
| Our school provides an in-school service program for the eighth graders. Each student has taken on an assigned job that they do at least once a week during their morning break time. There are a variety of jobs ranging from emptying paper recycling tubs into large community dumpsters to helping younger students with their class work. These jobs are deigned to help make the school community better. The purpose of this program is to emphasize the importance of Christian service to others and to reinforce the responsibility that eighth graders, as the student leaders, have to their school community. This eighth graders have done an excellent job with this program. |
