Shrine of Saint Anne School challenges and supports students to help them develop their knowledge, skills, and work habits in order for them to realize their full potential.  

Important components of our strong academic program are:

  • DEVELOPMENTALLLY APPROPRIATE/AGE APPROPRIATE EDUCATION
  • HANDS-ON LEARNING
  • HIGHLY ACCLAIMED UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO SCHOOL MATHEMATICS PROGARM
  • "ARTS ATTACK" PROGRAM This is a developmental and sequential approach to teaching students art elements and principles, as well as drawing, artist appreciation, art history, multicultural art and media exploration. Our halls are filled with original art work done by our students.
  • SPANISH Each student in Grades 1-8 has Spanish class twice per week. The focus in the early grades is on the basics of the language and learning about the culture. In the upper grades the students have a more intensive study of the language to better prepare them for high school level Spanish.
  • COMPUTER EDUCATION Students in Grades 4-8 have computer classes twice a week.
  • SPECIAL DAYS IN EACH GRADE Examples include Grade 3 Native American & Colonial Day, Grade 4 Rendezvous Day, Grade 5 Ameritowne, Grade 6 Medieval Day.
