The Shrine of St. Anne School is a Catholic community rooted in Christ, in Knowledge, and in Tradition. Under the patronage of St. Anne, we strive to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, physically, and socially within the loving community that surrounds our school.

Core Beliefs

The teachers and staff of Shrine of St. Anne School believe that all children embody Jesus Christ, our savior and are gifts from God.  We believe that all children are learners.  We believe that through a faith-filled community, differentiated instruction, and challenging learning opportunities we will have a school filled with engaged and active learners, including our staff because we are all life learners.  Finally, we believe we can help every child who walks through our doors make great progress towards, meet, or exceed their potential.

Our Promise

Shrine of St. Anne School is committed to providing excellence in education and faith. We are proud to teach and follow the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Denver Office of Catholic Schools.

These are four main “pillars” of our academic and faith-based education programs:

Roman Catholic Faith Formation

The Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools Religion Curriculum promotes and supports an understanding of the liturgical seasons. Beginning in Kindergarten through grade 8, students participate in regularly scheduled Mass, daily prayer, the sacrament of Reconciliation, praying the Rosary,  Adoration, May crowning, Faith in Action projects, and the Nashville Dominican Virtues in Practice program.

Nurturing Community

“The Holy See’s Teaching on Catholic Schools” discusses the importance of the school as a community – a community of persons and, even more to the point, “a genuine community of faith.” Catholic schools have close ties to the parish community and surrounding neighboring communities through service opportunities. Parent involvement is high and families are involved in volunteer projects and fundraising.

Reinforced Family Environment

Parents are the primary educators of their children. The Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools is committed to being an extension of the family by reinforcing the morals and values that are taught at home by a child’s parents. Catholic schools promote Catholic faith and values, respect and dignity, and the ideals of sacrifice and service.

Rigorous Academic Curriculum

The Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools high-quality curriculum is based on national standards infused with a Roman Catholic perspective. Catholic schools typically have a more intimate class size with increased individual attention than public schools and provide a caring, loving teaching environment with discipline and order.
